Broekhuizenvorst is in the Dutch province of Limburg and is part of the municipality of Horst aan de Maas, and lies about 15 km north of Venlo.

Limburg is the southernmost province in the Netherlands. Located in the south eastern part of the country and bordered by Gelderland in the north, Germany to the east, Belgium to the south and part of the west, and the Dutch province North Brabant is partly to the west with its capital Maastricht.
